Architectural Technician – Data Centre – Dublin We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more. Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced Architectural Technician to contribute to a Data Centre construction project in Dublin, Ireland. Prepare, develop, and maintain accurate architectural drawings and documentation for all stages of construction, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction details. Ensure drawings comply with client specifications, building regulations, and industry standards, while keeping revision control up to date.
• Cross-Discipline Coordination
Collaborate closely with MEP, civil, and structural teams to resolve design clashes and ensure the architectural intent is maintained throughout the project. Attend coordination meetings, review submissions, and provide solutions to potential conflicts before they impact the construction schedule.
• On-Site Engagement & Technical Support
Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction aligns with approved drawings and specifications. Identify potential issues proactively and provide practical, cost-effective solutions while liaising with contractors and project managers to clarify design intent.
• Design Development & Change Management
Support the development of design iterations and ensure all changes are accurately reflected in updated drawings and documentation. Track revisions systematically and communicate updates to the wider project team to maintain consistency, compliance, and project integrity.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Review all architectural outputs for accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project standards. Contribute to implementing best practices, streamline workflows, and ensure that high-quality deliverables are maintained under tight timelines, supporting both efficiency and excellence across the project.
Must have relevant degree level qualifications
Must be based within a commutable distance of North Dublin
